Today (7 May 2025), the Meteorological Department forecasts the weather for the next 24 hours that the southern region will continue to experience heavy rain in some areas. People in the aforementioned areas should be careful of the dangers of heavy rain and accumulated rain which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially in areas on hillsides near waterways and lowlands.

This is because the westerly and southwesterly winds are covering the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. In the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, waves are approximately 1 meter high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves are higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are advised to avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
